How do I put the sticker on my board?
1. Make sure to clean up the spot where you want to put your sticker really well. Remove any wax or sand and then make sure it's completely dry
2. It's recommended to use a credit card (or something similar) to ensure that there are no air bubbles when you put the sticker.
3. Start with one end of the sticker and use the credit card to slowly smooth and stick the rest of the sticker to your board
4. Once the whole sticker is glued to the board give it another gentle sweep with your card
5. Give the sticker a few hours to dry before taking your board to the sea
Will the sticker work on a soft top?
The sticker works perfectly fine on the bottom of a soft top. on the top part (the foam) it doesn't stick very well and we recommend avoiding putting stickers on that part. We are looking into other technologies that will allow putting stickers on the foam - stay tuned :)
Does the sticker create more drag?
Not any drag that will affect your surfing, unless your name is John John Florence. In fact many pro surfers have stickers on parts of the board that are in touch with the water and it seems to work pretty well for them.
Can I put wax on top of the sticker?
Yes, if the sticker is placed on an area of the board that should have wax, then you should definitely put wax on it. Just remember that when you do a wax cleaning and want to remove the wax do it very gently when it's on a sticker, so you won't damage the sticker.
